TRUMP MIGHT MEET SYRIA’S PRESIDENT — AND THAT’S A BIG DEAL
Trump says “I think so” when asked if he’ll meet Syria’s Ahmed al-Sharaa in Saudi Arabia.
Sharaa used to lead a group tied to al Qaeda.
Now he runs Syria — with support from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey.
The U.S. still lists his old group as a terrorist organization, and sanctions are still in place.
