IDF Confirms Strikes on IRGC, Security HQs in Tehran

🔹 The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that fighter jets struck multiple key Iranian regime targets in Tehran, including assets of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and internal security forces.

🔹 According to the IDF, the strikes targeted:
• Basij Headquarters — Described as a central IRGC power base responsible for enforcing Islamic codes and reporting civilian violations.
• Alborz Corps — Tasked with defending cities within Tehran Province and maintaining regime stability.
• Intelligence and General Security Police Facilities — Core assets of Iran’s domestic control apparatus.

🔹 The IDF stated that these groups are integral to Iran’s homeland defense, suppression of internal threats, and regime preservation.

🔹 The operation also reportedly included:
• A strike on the entrance of Evin Prison, Tehran’s notorious detention center for political prisoners and dissidents.
• The destruction of the “Countdown to Israel’s End” clock at Palestine Square, which symbolized the regime’s ideological opposition to Israel.

🔹 The IDF emphasized that these targets were militarily and symbolically significant, and that their destruction directly undermines Iran’s military and governance infrastructure.

🔹 Defense Minister Israel Katz noted the operation’s broad scope, reinforcing Israel’s commitment to degrading Iran’s internal and external strike capabilities.
